Traffic cone thrown through salon window

Police are appealing for information a traffic cone was thrown through the front window of a hair salon in Douglas.

The incident happened between last Saturday and Sunday in Market Street.

Officers the window left smashed following the incident.

A force spokesperson said: "This has occurred following the premises just reopening after a period of closure caused by the latest Covid lockdown and has clearly caused further financial and emotional distress to the business owner."

Witnesses are being urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or via the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
