Yellow warning for heavy rain

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain is in force across the Island.

Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office say spells of heavy rain are expected to affect the Island with 20-25 mm at low levels but 40-50 mm over higher ground.

The downpours lead to some localised flooding, especially where drains etc are blocked.

Adverse conditions are expected to the affect the Island until 10pm this evening.
