As part of the contact tracing process a small number of pupils have been identified who may be at risk. They are all self-isolating along with other members of their household and have been offered tests.
Director of Public Health, Dr Henrietta Ewart, said: 'It is important to stress that the risk to pupils, school staff, and the bus drivers is low. If, however, anyone from the school or the no 31 bus who was present on Friday goes on to develop symptoms of COVID-19, they are encouraged to self-isolate and contact the COVID-111 service immediately. The service is open from 8am to 8pm each day. If you do not have symptoms, there is no need to contact 111.'
