"Transmission is now widespread across the community"

The Chief Minister says there will be a dramatic spike in active cases over the coming days.

Howard Quayle said everyone must follow lockdown rules and he wants to prepare people mentally for the statistics to come.

Health Minister David Ashford said transmission was now widespread in the community.

Director of Public Health Dr Henrietta Ewart said they expect to see a peak in 5-6 days time:
