St John Ambulance has announced it is reactivating its work with pharmacists Island-wide, to provide a prescription delivery service for those in need, as a result of the recent measures put in place, in relation to Covid-19.
In addition, they will be delivering medications from the Nobles Hospital Pharmacy to the extremely vulnerable members of the community who are shielding.
Community First Responders and Ambulance Crews are standing by in readiness for any additional support the Isle of Man Ambulance Service may require.
The Charity has confirmed that the current ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown has resulted in a temporary freeze on scheduled ‘public’ courses. Those who have booked a place, will be able to transfer to another course, later in the year.
The prescription delivery service has already commenced and anyone in need of this service should contact their local Pharmacy direct, not St John Ambulance.
