Local elections postponed until July

Tynwald members have voted to postpone this year's Local Authority General Elections.

People were due to go to the polls on April 22nd but will now instead vote on July 22nd.

Concerns were raised the election could conflict with the Island's ongoing response to the pandemic.

Existing local authority members will remain in office until the new election takes place.
