Dog and owner rescued from 150ft cliff.

Wed, 17 Mar 2021

Emergency services are warning people not to put themselves in danger after a person and their dog were rescued from a 150ft cliff.

It happened at Marine Drive yesterday evening (19.22).

The coastguard say the animal had gone over the cliffs and the owner then got stuck when they climbed down to try to rescue the dog.

Neither were injured.

People are reminded that if they find themselves in situations like this, they should call 999 and not attempt a rescue themselves.
