Dog becomes sick after eating palm oil on beach

Dog owners are being warned after palm oil was washed up on an Island beach.

A member of the public reported a number of clumps of palm oil on Fleshwick Beach.

The owner of a dog reported the pet had consumed some and has suffered the effects.

Vets are warning palm oil is highly toxic to dogs.

Dog owners should take care if in the area.
