Ewe dies after sheep worrying incident

Police are urging all dog walkers to ensure their pets are kept under control and that livestock are not worried.

It follows a sheep worrying incident in the Barnell Lane area of Patrick.

The incident happened between Thursday and Saturday,

A mother ewe became trapped in the overgrowth. Unfortunately, the ewe could not be saved and as a consequence the farmer is now having to hand rear a lamb.
