The Manx Government has announced people will be able to meet from other households outdoors.
The restriction will be eased from 00:01 on Good Friday.
During today's COVID-19 briefing, Chief Minister Howard Quayle said: "We therefore agreed that with effect from first thing tomorrow, we are ready for you to meet people from other households outdoors. We cannot yet permit household mixing indoors – where the risks are that 6 much higher."
"For the moment we will also be limiting outdoor gatherings to ten people. We need people to see this for what it is. This is for families and friends to see each other. This is to make these tough days that little bit easier. But please just so this is absolutely clear, this is meeting up outdoors."
"Please don’t be tempted to pop inside. And please do everything you can to keep your distance and wear a face covering if you can. If we get this right and get through another week of low or no new cases, we may be able to go further."
