Thu, 22 Apr 2021

Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners have appointed a new Deputy Clerk.

Following the retirement of Colin Kniveton, the Commissioners have appointed David Ronan as their new Deputy Clerk.

Mr Ronan, a retired accountant, has considerable experience working in both the public and private sectors on the Island. He also served a term on the Board of Rushen Parish Commissioners between 2004 and 2008. He will take up the position on 1 April 2021.

Commenting on the appointment, Commissioners Chair, Mrs Jane Glover MBE said, “on behalf of the Commissioners and the Clerk I’d like to thank Colin for his contribution to the smooth running of the Authority during a particularly challenging time as Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners were amalgamated. She added, “I’d also like to welcome David and look forward to working with him as the Authority seeks to maximise the benefits of the merger”.
