Free drop-in information sessions for Manx Telecom Parish Walk competitors

Two free drop-in information sessions are going to be held by the Manx Telecom Parish Walk committee next month.

The sessions will be held at the Manx Harriers Clubhouse at the NSC on Friday 7th May from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and on Saturday 8th May from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The Clubhouse is situated on the perimeter roadway of the outdoor facilities at the NSC.

Open to all entrants, prospective entrants and support crews, there will be information stations in the Clubhouse on all aspects of the event to help walkers and supporters get the most from the day. This includes:

Details of the route, with all the facilities and feed stations available.

  • Road restrictions for the event, including No Stopping Zones and advice for support crews.
  • Nutrition and medical advice courtesy of Dr Dave Walker.
  • Coaching and training tips.
  • Information on the new Parish Walk mobile phone app.
  • The introduction of the Nedgroup Investments Fanzone at Patrick.
  • There will also be high visibility bibs on sale.


With over 1,700 entries so far for the 2021 event, it’s looking like a bumper year for the Manx Telecom Parish Walk. Registration for the event will close at midnight on Sunday 16th May.
