Commissioner to stand for Rushen in House of Keys election

A Port St Mary commissioner has announced her intention to stand in this year's General Election.

Michelle Haywood intends to stand in the Rushen area.

She has served as chair of the Port St Mary local authority since 2016.

Ms Haywood confirmed she will not be standing for re-election as a commissioner.

The General Election takes place on Thursday 23 September.
