North and West area plans go on show in Ramsey today

Plans for future development in the North and West of the Island will go on show in Ramsey today.

A new draft area plan was announced last month with people being invited to submit feedback.

When approved by Tynwald, the Area Plan for the North and West will replace a number of extant Local Plans and will help guide planning application decisions. The Plan will be in operation for a number of years, so it is important that as many views as possible are captured during this early stage of the plan-making process.

Plans will be on display in Ramsey Town Hall today between 12pm and 7pm and also on Friday 21st May between 10am to 4pm.

Officers from the Cabinet Office will also be on hand to answer any questions people may have about the proposals.
