The organisers of the Manx Telecom Parish Walk have announced Nedgroup Investments will sponsor the newly introduced Fanzone at Patrick.
With a record number of entries - and increased interest from families and friends following the race - the organisers are mindful of keeping the route as safe as possible for entrants, supporters and spectators.
This has led to the creation of a designated viewing and parking area at the site of the Royal Manx Agricultural Show in Patrick, named the Nedgroup Investments Fanzone.
As well as providing off-road parking, the Fanzone will have live streaming via a giant video screen of the walkers coming through Glen Maye and checking in at Peel.
There will be computer terminals for supporters to check on walkers' progress with extra timing points at Round Table and Glen Maye.
Spectators will be able to enjoy a bite to eat and have some coffee or ice-cream with local caterers in attendance.
The charity Victim Support will be providing children’s entertainment so there will be something for all the family.
