Police continue to investigate Douglas altercation

Police are continuing to investigate a violent altercation in Douglas over the weekend.

Armed officers were called to the Upper Dukes Road and St Ninian's Road area at around 1am on Saturday.

The incident involved an altercation between two local men - one of them received injuries to his head which are not serious.

Officers made one arrest.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is being urged to contact Police Headquarters.
