Body recovered from beach

Police have recovered the body of a male from a beach on the Isle of Man.

Officers were called to Derbyhaven Beach this afternoon.

An investigation is now underway to formally identify the body.

Detective Inspector Michelle McKillop said: "We are unable to make further comment on this other than the matter is not being treated as suspicious at this time, all be it how the male came to such demise is currently unexplained."
