Ben-my-Chree to return to Island following repairs

The Ben-my-Chree is due to return to the Island today following extensive repairs.

The vessel has been out of service for over seven weeks.

The return was delayed after a detailed inspection found issues with the stern tube bearings which required work by a specialist third-party company.

The Manannan has been operating a daily passenger service and the Arrow providing freight cover.
