Motorbike rider treated for serious leg injury

A motorbike rider was taken to hospital yesterday after a crash at Glen Helen.

Emergency services were called to the stretch of road between Ballig Bridge and the Cronk-Y-Voddy crossroads.

A car and motorbike were involved in the collision.

The Ambulance Service treated the motorbike rider for a serious leg injury.

The road was closed for around two hours.
