Jamie Smith to stand for Garff in General Election

A commissioner has declared his intention to stand in this year's General Election.

Former Garff Commissioners chairman and current commissioner Jamie Smith says he will challenge big issues including a sewerage solution for Laxey Bay, flood protection works across the constituency, and preserving the unique communities in Onchan, Lonan and Maughold.

Current MHK Daphne Caine will stand for the Garff Constituency in this September's election.
