Kevin Oliphant-Smith to stand in General Election

Kevin Oliphant-Smith has announced he will stand for Douglas North in the General Election.

Mr Oliphant-Smith previously stood unsuccessfully in last year's Douglas South by-election.

He is calling for 'the right people for the job' after saying current sitting politicians have been 'sitting on their hands.'

Sitting MHK Ralph Peake has also declared for the constituency.

The Isle of Man General Election will take place on 23rd September.
