Victims' rights campaigner to stand for Douglas East

A victims' rights campaigner has announced she will stand for Douglas East in this year's General Election.

Christine Urquhart says she will continue to advocate for victims of sexual violence.

Her priorities include health and social care, education, mental health and affordable housing.

Manx Labour Party candidate Joney Faragher, Liberal Vannin Party candidate Michael Josem and Douglas Mayor Jon Joughin have also declared their intention to stand for Douglas East.

The Isle of Man General Election will take place on 23rd September.
