History repeats as Cavendish wins stage 6 in Châteauroux

Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish has claimed his 32nd Tour de France stage victory to move within two wins of the all-time record.

He crossed the line first on day six in a sprint finish in Chateauroux.

Dutch rider Mathieu van der Poel continues to lead overall by eight seconds, with 2018 champion Geraint Thomas almost two minutes further back.
