Cavendish denied record but wins green jersey

Mark Cavendish has finished the Tour de France - tied on the record for the most stage wins in race history.

He couldn't claim the final sprint in Paris as this year's edition came to an end on Sunday, sitting level on 34 wins with Eddie Merckx.

The Manx cyclist did have the consolation of winning the green jersey, though.

Tadej Pogacar took the yellow jersey for the second year in a row.
