Driver cut free from overturned vehicle

A person had to be cut free from their vehicle after it overturned in Douglas earlier.

Emergency services were called to Johnny Watterson Lane at just before 11:30am.

A single vehicle had left the road and was situated on its side in a nearby field.

Firefighters stabalised the vehicle and then extricated the casulaty using cutting equipment.

The driver is believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
