Injured falcon being tube fed

An injured peregrine falcon is being cared for after being found collapsed on a road in Jurby.

The charity said an examination found he was very underweight, with an infection in his beak and a high parasite burden.

He will tube-fed and has been prescribed medication for his mouth infection.

A spokesperson said: "We are hopeful that he’ll make a full recovery and return to the wild."
