Ian-James Clanton has announced he has withdrawn from standing in next month's General Election.
In a statement, Mr Clanton said: "It is with great sadness that I must announce the postponement of my candidacy for MHK in this year’s General Election.
I thank all of my supporters and the constituents I have met with that have been absolutely amazing throughout my campaign- and I look forward to working with you in the near future."
He had intended to stand in the Arbory, Castletown and Malew constituency.
