Appeal after young girl injured by thrown stone

Police are appealing for information following an incident on Fenella Beach.

It happened yesterday at around 2:25pm.

A young girl swimming near to the rocks beneath Peel Castle was hit by a stone thrown from the direction of the castle.

A witness has stated there were a group of young males by the rocks next to the castle throwing stones into water.

The young girl suffered a head injury and had to attend Nobles Hospital. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station.
