Group turnout for Peel sewage protest

A protest was held in Peel yesterday calling for the Manx Government to stop pumping waste into the sea.

It follows a petition created by Roots by the Sea which is calling for an end to raw sewage and toxic chemicals being pumped into the bay.

Yesterday, a group of campaigners gathered on Peel Promenade to raise awareness.

Nearly 2,000 people have already signed the online petition.
