Additional appointment-only vaccination clinic for 16-17 year olds

A further vaccination clinic is being held later this week for individuals aged 16 and 17 to receive a vaccine.

The clinic will be open for individuals in this age group to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on:

• Saturday 11 September 10:30am – 1:45pm – Chester Street Vaccination Hub, Douglas

Individuals wanting to attend this clinic will need to ensure that they have registered with 111 and received an appointment time before attending. Those who arrive and do not have a scheduled appointment will not be vaccinated on the day. Booking is essential as staff must know how many vaccines to have to ensure there is no wastage.

More than 50% of this age group have now received at least one dose of the vaccine, providing them with protection against the virus.
