Isle of Man Scouts launch Squirrels for 4-5 year olds

Your children may already be Cubs, Brownies or Scouts - but now the younger ones on the Isle of Man can become Squirrels.

For the first time in 35 years, the Scout Association's being expanded to include a new age group.

Four and five year-olds who join Squirrels will get red uniforms and their own sets of 35 badges.

Kevin Brew from 1st Santan Scouts said: “It’s great that we now have an exciting new programme specifically for 4-5 year olds. They have a real curiosity at that age and I know that Squirrels will give them the chance to explore.”
