International Labour Organisation estimates 840 people unemployed

The number of unemployed people on the Isle of Man has seen a fall.
Figures from the latest Labour Market Report show unemployment has decreased by 50 persons from the previous month (July 2021), and has decreased by 605 persons compared to the same month last year (August 2020).
The unemployment rate for last month is 0.9 %, which is a decrease of 0.1% on the previous month.
It is estimated that 840 individuals are unemployed and looking for work last month compared with 890 in July.
