Police cordon lifted around Willaston School following bomb threat

A police cordon around Willaston School has been lifted following a bomb threat.

Emergency services were called to the school earlier this afternoon.

All children and staff were evacuated from the site and moved to Isle of Man College.

Police have confirmed a road closure and cordon has been removed and nearby pathways have also re-opened.

The Manx Government has confirmed Willaston school will be open as usual on Wednesday.
