12-year-old questioned over school bomb hoax

Police have questioned a 12-year-old boy in connection with bomb hoax incident yesterday.

Willaston School was evacuated at just after 3pm following the phone call. All pupils were moved to the nearby University College Isle of Man.

Investigating officers today said enquiries had indicated that the person involved in making the call was a 12-year-old local boy.

The child cannot be named for legal reasons.
