Pulrose Bridge will close to pedestrians from tomorrow for two weeks.
Work will be carried out on a number of utility lines such as telecoms and electrical.
During the closure - a signed diversion will be in place for pedestrians.
Manx Telecom is warning users in the area are likely to experience intermittent disruption to their services while the work is being carried out.
Commenting on the plans, Manx Telecom’s Access Network Manager Daniel Horisk said: “The removal and replacement of telecoms at Pulrose Bridge is a significant project which is taking place independently of our work around installing our new, upgraded broadband network. We regret any inconvenience to users during this phase in the Pulrose Bridge programme, but we are pleased to work with and to support the DoI and to help keep the Island connected.’
