Police investigating fail to stop collision

Police are investigating a fail to stop collision in the west of the Island.

It happened at around 3:30pm on Sunday on the Poortown Road; just Peel side of the ‘S’ bend at Ballalough Farm.

A white motorhome collided with the drivers door mirror of a bright metallic orange Ford Transit Custom van; causing it to smash.

The said white motorhome was travelling towards Peel at the time and subsequently failed to stop or report the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station on 842208 quoting reference 97/52681/21.
