Temporary traffic lights at Ballasalla to be removed

The temporary traffic lights on Glashen Hill, Ballasalla, will be removed early tomorrow morning (Thursday).

A 20mph speed restriction will remain in place, however, as inclement weather has hampered progress and the final coat for the road surface cannot be laid until there is a sufficiently long break in the weather.

Dry weather with mild temperatures is required to complete the works.

Dandara Housing Director Ciaran Downey said: ‘We would like to thank the public for their continued patience and apologise for the inevitable inconvenience caused.’
