An MHK has raised concerns over finding an alternative premises for PCR testing on the Island.
Douglas South MHK Claire Christian raised the question in the House of Keys earlier.
The MHK said: "I would ask if the Minister would visit today and possibly experience taking a test himself as I did last week during the storm, where the poor member of staff was freezing, the heating was not working, and barely keeping her footing as she tested me. Does the Minister believe that these are suitable working conditions for Manx Care Staff? Especially those performing a essential procedure which is used everyday?”
In response, the Health and Social Minister Lawrie Hooper said premises wouldn't be available until February next year.
It comes as the testing centre at Grandstand has been forced to close today due to Storm Barra.
Manx Care has been contacting anyone whose appointments have had to be cancelled.
