Police on the Island are gearing up for one of the busiest nights of the year.
Officers will be out patrolling this evening on what is dubbed as Black Eye Friday.
People are being reminded to make the right choice to get home safely.
A force spokesperson said: "We are anticipating a busy period and we want people to have fun however we will take action where required which can end up with people in the custody block. This approach is necessary to keep people safe."
"Know your limits; too much alcohol can lead to arguments or fights. Arguments and fights can end up with a bed and breakfast at HQ and a likely expensive Court Appearance; don’t let one night change your future!"
