RNLI postpone church service over covid concerns

Douglas RNLI has postponed the Annual Commemorative Church Service to honour the memory of Sir William Hillary.

The service was due to have been held this coming Sunday at St. George’s Church.

In a statement, the RNLI said: "The decision has not been taken lightly and has been made in response to the current Covid situation."

"A date for the rescheduled service will be advised when we are able, and would offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to those who may have already made arrangements to attend."
