It could be easier to pay for parking at Nobles Park in future.
Douglas Borough Council is looking at installing cashless pay and display machines at the site.
Planning permission was granted for a parking area and motorhome site last year.
The authority says the contactless machines will cost around £10,000 and could generate a year income of £14,000.
