Many are speculating that Ramsey is averse to change after development plans for the town’s West Quay were withdrawn by the Department of Infrastructure last week.

 

This was following numerous objections from commissioners.

 

Commissioner Juan McGuinness says in order to move forward, rather than labouring over issues with the proposal, or scrapping plans altogether, the Department is working with the local authority to come up with a new design.
