Isle of Man's most popular baby names revealed

The Civil Registry has revealed the most popular forenames given to baby girls and boys in the Isle of Man last year were Elsie and Arthur respectively.

Arthur, Theo (Theodore) and Charlie were the most popular names chosen for boys in 2021. Other popular names included Arlo, Freddie and Oliver.

In terms of baby girls, Elsie was the most popular name in 2021, with Evie (Evee), Alice, Grace (Gracie), Millie, Olivia, Poppy and Ella, which was the most popular name in 2020, falling closely behind
