DOI revisit Balthane junction proposal

The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed it has revisited its proposals for Balthane junction in Ballasalla following public consultations.

Officials said there have been further positive discussions with local landowners who have agreed to release additional land to progress this proposal.

This now means that there is sufficient space to allow the Department to bring forward plans for a four arm roundabout.

The Department has arranged to display its proposals at Malew Parish Commissioners office, in Ballasalla from Monday 24 January until Wednesday 26 January. Officers from the Department will be on hand from 2pm to 6.30pm on the Wednesday to answer queries and take public comment.
