More homeowners needed for TT Homestay

There are calls for more homeowners on the Isle of Man to urgently sign up for the Homestay Scheme.

The Department for Enterprise is seeking Homestay Hosts to provide additional accommodation for visitors during the TT Races.

The scheme allows those who host visitors to earn up to £1800 tax free.

Rob Callister MHK says there are 495 properties currenly signed up to the scheme. 

Registering for the scheme is through MiQuando, which operates the scheme on behalf of the Department.
