Work starts on improving drainage and new footbridge at Laxey Glen

Work has begun on making improvements at Laxey Glen.

Contractors will improve drainage and surfacing in the lower car park.

A path and footbridge is also to be installed across the stream connecting to the site of a new playground which we plan to build and open before summer.

Visitors to the Glen are asked to follow all safety signage and any path diversions required around the areas highlighted in the picture.
 
It is anticipated the works will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.
