Time running out to have say about On-Island Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service

People have until Monday to have their say regarding On-Island Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service.

It was designed to provide transport for those who, because of a medical condition, are unable to make their own return journey to an on-Island NHS medical appointment.

An eligibility criteria has been proposed to make it easy to understand who should use the service.

The Manx Government says costs of providing the service have inevitably risen with the 75% increase in demand.

The consultation will closed on 7th February 2022.
