A yellow weather warning for ice on the Isle of Man will be in force until Saturday morning.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office said it will remain cold throughout today with isolated showers, and temperatures around freezing over higher ground with a continuing risk of ice where roads remain damp or wet from last night's rain, mainly for ground above approximately 1000FT.
Icy patches are also possible at lower levels in some places sheltered from the fresh W-NW wind at first today and again tonight.
The temperatures will gradually start to rise again during Saturday.
The warning will be in force until 6am tomorrow.
