Taxi drivers reject on-demand minibus review

Taxi drivers have rejected a review which found the Manx Government's on-demand minibus service to be anti-competitive.

Industry body Unite Taxis said the independent investigation into the initiative had "fundamental flaws in its definition of the market".

The Bus Vannin service began serving the north of the Island in 2018.

A report said the demand responsive transport was judged to have had a "limited impact" on taxis in the report.
