Top of the list is British rider Oliver Townend (39), who has dominated the World Number one spot for many years, as well as winning the Team Olympic gold Medal at last years Tokyo Olympics.
Ingham is part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Ambition Programme as well as being a squad member of the British Equestriran Federation Podium Potential Pathway Programme, which is aimed at nurturing athletes towards winning an Olympic medal in the future.
She has a busy Spring season planned, which kicks off in early March. Ingham's sights are set on several 5* competitions in 2022 and she will be aiming the Blenheim winner, Banzai Du Lior, at selection for the Eventing World Championships which takes place in Pratoni Del Vivaro in Italy in September.
Commenting on her World Ranking position, Ingham said
"I am very honoured to now be one of the Top 30 riders in the world, and at 24 years old to be ranking amongst some of my long time idols of the sport seems very surreal. I had a very successful season in 2021, with the highlight being my win at Blenheim Palace, and not forgetting being long listed for the Tokyo Olympics, and a named reserve for the Senior European Championships. I'm very excited to see what 2022 will bring, with some big goals to achieve with my super string of horses. I'm forever grateful to Sue Davies and Janette Chinn for their belief in me, and very thankful for the support I receive from Isle of Man Sport, and the Lottery Funded World Class Programme, together with my loyal Sponsors"
